DIY Oatmeal Face Mask for Acne skin

Hello Gorgeous,

I haven't really told you about  my skin and its wahala, by the title of this post you would know my skin type is Oily, around the T-zone area  + Acne prone type.
For people like us anything irritates our skin especially products with alcohol, so I'm particular about the types of cosmetic products i use on my face.
I do the CEM only which means;
Cleanse, Exfoliate and Moisturise

Cleanse; this step for me is quite simple i use a Tea tree soap which is so healthy for my skin, TTS is the only soap i have used that suits my skin type.

Exfoliate; I exfoliate using Home made Face masks, i would share other types i use with you all as well as Others for different skin types in due time, but for now this below is my best, The Oatmeal Face mask is not only easy to make but one of the best for oily + Acne prone skin.

We often spend so much Naira in search for the "holy grail" beauty product, when it could be sitting in the kitchen all this time, a DIY oatmeal face mask is made with the cheapest and most common kitchen ingredients (Water, Oats & honey). It is so natural, cheap and only takes 5 minutes to make, Here's how i make mine;

Mix the following in a small bowl
2 teaspoons of Oat meal
1 teaspoon of Honey
10ml Water (If you do not have a measuring cup, make use of the transparent cap that comes with a cough syrup)
* Apply paste to your face and leave on for 10-15minutes, wash off and apply little moisturiser.

NOTE; some people like to blend the oat meal for a softer paste.

See my mary-amaka face X_X.....

Moisturise; i use Cetaphil, its a Lightweight moisturiser that's ideal for all over the body hydration, Non-comedogenic/fragrance free (Oily skin and its wahala). this is the only moisturiser that doesn't break my skin or cause irritation. so I'm stuck like glue to it.

Benefits of The Oatmeal Face Mask; It provides deep cleansing and gentle exfoliation, combats acne, gentle enough to suit most sensitive skin-types, smoothens skin,
Its also applicable for any skin type (sensitive skin, oily, combination and/or acne-prone skin,
 The other important part about The Oatmeal Face Mask is the honey, Honey is a natural antibiotic.
So gorgeous don't be afraid to try this great face mask recipe.

NOTE
This Face mask is messy to apply and to rinse off, but worth the effort, i recommend you do it before you shower and apply it in the bathroom. xxxx
