How to depot NYX Jumbo pencil in milk

Hello Gorgeous,

I purchased the NYX Jumbo pencil in milk last year and i had been using it till i couldn't find a sharpener for it, so this year i remembered i had it and i wasnt comfortable using a razor blade to sharpen the pencil so i searched more on other ways i could achieve that and heres what happened in my kitchen.

So why did i depot?

  • Its really very annoying when you cant use a Jumbo pencil  you got because there was no safe way to sharpen it.
  • I ended up saving lots of products and it should last me a year before purchasing another one "ntoi to nyx"
  • When you sharpen or use razor blade for your pencils in general, you notice 40% of the product is wasted doing so
  • I can now apply the product well and sanitize it with alcohol when im done using it on my self or a client.
Most importantly Gorgs, you save money and your pencil product depot-ting it

Things you will need to depot your pencils

1) 5mm Jar/cosmetic container and lid
2) 99% Alcohol (used to sanitize your container, lid and workplace for depot-ting)
3) Spatula/knife
4) A mug (one you can place your full hand into)
5) Good Microwave (set time is 5 mins)
6) Paper towel to clean hands.

Thank God the internet spirit was hyper today, it allowed a smooth video upload on my YouTube channel today , so you can watch how i did my own depot-ting.
You can purchase all the items on WWW.YANGABEAUTY.COM, they offer fast shipping services.

Black Smokey Smokey

Hello Gorgeous,

Happy Mothers day to every woman all over the world, you all are priceless gems and may you all continue to be blessings all over the world.

You all should know by now how much i LOVE the look "Smokey eyes" and whenever my clients ask for that look 'urgh' i go in hard with all my heart making sure it fits the client. I was so honored to make two beautiful women and friends of mine this weekend and both wanted same 'Smokey Smokey' haha i was too happy and i will explain an easy way to create this look.

What you will need

  • Foundation and Powder for your skin type
  • Corrector
  • Blush (in creating a smokey eye of any color less is more on your cheeks)
  • Lipstick (Make sure the lipstick compliments the eye shadow color and your outfit, i mean you cant have on smokey eyes with black or blue lipstick with a green outfit or blue smokey eye with red lipstick in an orange outfit, 'e nor go well so no try am' *You feel me?*)
  • Brown pencil for your brows ( Light skin ladies use Light brown pencil, Medium skin tone use Medium Brown pencil and Dark/Ebony skin tone use Dark brown pencil) so Biko do not use purple, wine, dark wine, red, maroon red pencil on your brows *Thank you*
  • Mascara (mascara helps keep your own lashes in place before applying falsies
  • Dark Eye pencil
  • Lip pencil
  • Lip balm
  • Makeup Setting Spray
  • Face Moisturizer and Face Primer
  • Gel Liner
  • Eye shadow primer

How to Create easy black smokey eye

 Brow and Eye area

  • Using your desired brow color pencil, slightly fill in brows using the sides of the pencil and clean off excess using a light shade of foundation under the brows and your shade of foundation over the brow line *i like to use cream products in defining my brows as it tends to conform*
  • Apply eye shadow primer on your lid or the black color in Sleek's eye shadow primer palette and crease area then use a black gel liner over the primer on your eye Lid only and set with a black eye shadow and blend blend make sure you do not go over the crease, just blend to the crease area and stop there.
  • Apply black eyeliner and mascara on your upper and lower lashes then apply your false lashes, you may use a black gel liner to create a winged line *optional*

Face and Cheek area
  • Clean off any excess fall out of black eye shadow
  • Moisturize your face & Prime using your desired face primer
  • Apply a corrector underneath your eye area and any dark spot or blemish on your face then Apply your foundation and set it using your powder
  • Conceal underneath your eye or use a lighter foundation and set with a translucent powder or ben nye banana powder for 5 minutes while you do other application
  • Apply your blush
  • Set your whole make up using a makeup setting spray. eg Mac fix+, Model in a Bottle makeup spray, Urban decay chill makeup setting spray are my favs

Lips

  • Before doing any application on my face or a clients i love to apply lip balm on the lips for easy lipstick application to prevent feathering.
  • Line the lip
  • Make sure your lipstick compliments your whole look, from the face to the outfit and shoe *yup*

Reformed Soft Smokey Eyes

Hey Gorgeous,

I have been working so hard on my new business venture and I can't wait to share everything with You all + all the business plans are going as planned all Glory to God Who Makes All things Possible!!!!

"YAS" (I say yas asin Yes when I'm excited)
So Back to Beauty;

Smokey eyes can give you a smothering, high-end look suitable for just about any occasion and they have always helped in creating a very glamorous and attractive Look and i decided to show you a very quick guide on how to create a great smokey eye look without having to be an expert. ;)

Although I always advice when creating Smokey eye Look, Less is more and Since your eyes are talking, apply less colors on other areas especially your LIPS, you can play a bit on your cheeks but never your Lip except you are on a runway where you can pair smokey eyes with dark lipstick (you get what I mean?).

OkAy Make we start.

First off PRIME & MOISTURISE YOUR FACE. "Hehe". If you fail to prime, you fail to achieve flawless looks.

So

2) Fix up your brows using any desired eye brow pencil, Light strokes working with the side of the eyebrow pencil and not the TIP.

3) Apply an eyeshadow primer, apply a brown or espresso eyeshadow on your crease area using a pointed crease brush then a dark creamy black eyeshadow or GEL LINER *yup* on your lid, DO NOT go over your lid, applying gel liner or a black creamy eyeshadow will make your smokey eye process faster and will not crease.

4) Blend Blend and do not over blend. Use a blending blush and start from outside to inside, back and forth till you can't see where the eyeshadow starts nor ends.

5) Clean up fall outs if any and apply your shade of foundation use your desired foundation and blend. Apply your foundation outward and downward

6) Highlight and Contour Your Face after your foundation as seen below and BLEND ALL OUT using a beauty blender sponge

7) Apply Any Translucent powder or Ben nye banana powder on your Highlight areas and apply your face powder on other areas.                                             -Fix your Lashes, I used Redcherry Wispy and 747M together.
-Using a dark eye pencil apply that into your water line
-Apply Mascara on your Natural lashes before fixing faux lashes
-Highlight your brow bone with a MATTE color always.(Never use any shimmer eyeshadow on your brow bone NEVER)

8) An apply less color lipstick or red lipstick but less color on your cheeks.

I made use of 3 Lipsticks here

1) Mac Taupe
2) Mac Velvet Teddy
3) Mac RIRIBOY (hints only).

9) Lastly set your Makeup up by using a Makeup setting spray, This helps you touch up less and gives your whole face a Matte look.

And That's how you create a total full face Look.
