You all should know by now how much i LOVE the look "Smokey eyes" and whenever my clients ask for that look 'urgh' i go in hard with all my heart making sure it fits the client. I was so honored to make two beautiful women and friends of mine this weekend and both wanted same 'Smokey Smokey' haha i was too happy and i will explain an easy way to create this look.

What you will need

  • Foundation and Powder for your skin type
  • Corrector

  • Brown pencil for your brows ( Light skin ladies use Light brown pencil, Medium skin tone use Medium Brown pencil and Dark/Ebony skin tone use Dark brown pencil) so Biko do not use purple, wine, dark wine, red, maroon red pencil on your brows *Thank you*

  • Dark Eye pencil
  • Lip pencil
  • Lip balm
  • Makeup Setting Spray
  • Face Moisturizer and Face Primer
  • Gel Liner
  • Eye shadow primer

How to Create easy black smokey eye

 Brow and Eye area

  • Using your desired brow color pencil, slightly fill in brows using the sides of the pencil and clean off excess using a light shade of foundation under the brows and your shade of foundation over the brow line *i like to use cream products in defining my brows as it tends to conform*
  • Apply eye shadow primer on your lid or the black color in Sleek's eye shadow primer palette and crease area then use a black gel liner over the primer on your eye Lid only and set with a black eye shadow and blend blend make sure you do not go over the crease, just blend to the crease area and stop there.
  • Apply black eyeliner and mascara on your upper and lower lashes then apply your false lashes, you may use a black gel liner to create a winged line *optional*

Face and Cheek area
  • Clean off any excess fall out of black eye shadow
  • Moisturize your face & Prime using your desired face primer
  • Apply a corrector underneath your eye area and any dark spot or blemish on your face then Apply your foundation and set it using your powder
  • Conceal underneath your eye or use a lighter foundation and set with a translucent powder or ben nye banana powder for 5 minutes while you do other application
  • Apply your blush
  • Set your whole make up using a makeup setting spray. eg Mac fix+, Model in a Bottle makeup spray, Urban decay chill makeup setting spray are my favs

Lips

  • Before doing any application on my face or a clients i love to apply lip balm on the lips for easy lipstick application to prevent feathering.
  • Line the lip
  • Make sure your lipstick compliments your whole look, from the face to the outfit and shoe *yup*
