Beautiful Bronze Look using Black Opal & NYX Adorable palette

Hello Gorgeous,

I Purchased all shades of black opal stick foundation March 2014 but i wasn't too excited because i didn't know a lot of people who used it so i kept it in my box "lol", i woke up this morning and i felt like i needed to achieve a clean look so i decided to try it, as i searched for my perfect shade i was so surprised it blended effortlessly, very very good coverage but because i have very oily skin i made sure i applied some primer and mac's fix plus before the application.

The Break Down

Brows

  • Framed my brows using Tara brow pencil in brown
  • Gently mixed Anastasia Beverly Hills genius kit and applied it using the mini angled brush inside the framed brows
  • Used a brow spoolie to blend the brow application and defined the brows with MUD GY2 foundation and a 410 brush

Face-

  • I wanted a bronze look so i mixed my shade of black opal foundation with M.A.C's Golden bronze and it worked perfectly (less is more, if you over add the golden bronze you will end up looking super tanned)
  • Applied it with a stippling brush for maximum coverage
  • Concealed underneath my eye with Maybelline Fit me concealer in 30 and Laura Mercier's Translucent powder to set and i left it to cook before using my fan brush to take off excess
  • Maybelline Fit me powder in 360 to set the Foundation
  • Mac Mineralised powder in deep dark to warm up the whole application

Eyes

  • Primed my eyelid using Soft Ochre
  • Applied the 5th shade from the left of Nyx adorable palette
  • First shade from the left on my crease area and i used mud blending brush to blend out harsh lines
  • I applied M.A.C's Vanilla around the Tear duct area

Lips

  • Applied Jamaican castor oil to moisturize my lip before lipstick application
  • Lined the outer edges of my lip with tara brown pencil before applying M.A.C's Magenta over the tara brown pencil
  • Applied Heroine over step two
  • Lastly i applied candy yum yum in the middle point of my lip for a lilttle ombre effect

  • REVIEW-
    Black Opal Stick Foundation

The foundation is PARA-ben free "whoohoo", Hypoallergenic (which protects the skin so you don't have to use sunscreen with this foundation), its easy to blend and has full coverage, it doesn't feel heavy after application and wont clog your pores.
I absolutely love the packaging,  it looks very sleek and feels very sturdy but isn't bulky and is quite a neat fit into a cosmetic pouch or hand bag. It twists up like a lipstick and its absolutely easy to use.

    Nyx Eyeshadow in Adorable

These shades are really awesome to work with as you can play with two-three shades to create a beautiful look. I love the packaging and it's easy to apply and blend so far you use an eyeshadow base.
