Every woman craves for a flawless makeup look after she's sorted out her attire, be it to a glamorous night out, anniversary events, wedding engagement,Girls night out or a Dinner date with that special someone. But how to get the desired makeup look can or could be daunting, so today's post is going to be about how to achieve such.
Here's what you will need;
- Moisturizer
- Face Primer or Oil Matifyer for Oily skin
- Concealer (optional)
- Foundation
- Powder
- Blush
- Lip balm or Gloss and Lipstick
- Brow pencil
- Eye shadow primer
- Eyeshadow ( Matte, Semi-Matte or Shimmery)
- Mascara
- Gel liner and Eye pencil in (black or white)
- Strip Lashes and Glue (optional)
- Sleek Contour Kit (optional)
- Fix+ or Facial Mist
You don't need to have all that I have listed here just work with what you have and if you need to buy then you can use the list to guide you so you don't over buy!
Let's get started;
I created this look yesterday to attend "Ice prince"s Album Lunch FOZ"
I didn't have enough time to take good pictures so just manage the ones I post on here Biko!
Steps on how to create this look
• Apply moisturizer (I used cetaphil)
• Apply Facial Primer (Milk of Magnesium is a very good primer for oily/combination skin, Any good primer is suitable or Oil Matifyer, But I didn't use a primer in creating this look *forgot to use one*)
•Apply concealer(optional) to cover dark spot and use a lighter shade of concealer of Foundation to highlight your under eye
• Apply eyeshadow primer first on your entire lid and crease just to make your eyeshadow last on longer and crease less, then I applied a yellow eyeshadow from Makeup Studio Palette on my eye lid only, after which I applied a dark brown eyeshadow MUD Expresso to my crease, I used a blending brush to blend out harsh eyeshadow lines, I then highlighted my brow bone to give a flawless application.
• Used L'oreal Gel liner on my lid and lined my waterline with Tara black pencil and Mac's Fascinating, Applied my Red Cherry Lashes in 747s using my duo glue
• Applied Mac Match-master Foundation in 8.5 and Mac Mineralized skin finish powder in deep dark, Ben bye Coral Blush and Used Sleek Contour kit dark on my cheeks and bridge of the nose
• Primed my lip using Eos lip balm and applied Mac velvet teddy lipstick.
• I used Tara brow pencil in dark brown to fill in my brows and cleaned up using a flat brush and a lighter concealer for the lower brow line and darker for the upper brow line..
• Lastly I applied Mac Fix+ to set my makeup so it would last long and I wouldn't have to touch up again for the day. Other alternatives are ( Elf facial mist or Urban decay chill make up setting spray)
Primer, Good Foundation & Powder And makeup setter or Fix+ is like Maggie and Salt to your soup and stew, so in order to get those celebrity makeup looks you will be needing them to create your own flawless look!!!!!
